Erykah Badu's new album is the big headline among this week's new album releases.

Badu is releasing Amerykah Part Two (Return Of The Ankh), which is the follow-up to 2008's New Amerykah Part One (naturally), and sees her working with more live instrumentation as opposed to the digital sounds of the previous. The album features contributions from some key underground producers and engineers in the hip-hop game, including Grammy winners 9th Wonder and James Poyser, eclectic soul singer Bilal, and the late J Dilla. www.erykahbadu.com

The Wonder Show Of The World is the new release from Bonnie 'Prince' Billy & The Cairo Gang. Bonnie Prince – or to give him his nom de plume Will Oldham – has also just recently remixed the new Hot Chip single.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds continue their remastering campaign, with the release of The Good Son, Henry's Dream and Tender Prey, all reengineered with a bonus DVD of videos and live performances. If you only choose one, The Good Son is our selection out of the three. www.nickcaveandthebadseeds.com

If that was a bit too dark for you, there's always the reissues of Duran Duran's back catalogue. Duran Duran, Rio and Seven & The Ragged Tiger, complete with bonus mixes and DVD action. These are the albums where Simon and chums were at their hair-dyeing, global-video-shooting-with-cocktails-and-models best, and again, if you only need one, Rio is the best – Hungry Like The Wolf, The Chaffeur, Save A Prayer, Rio – it's nigh impossible to get any more '80s than that. www.duranduran.com
