Red Bull Thre3Style returned to The Studio in Auckland for the second year running in search of its finest party rocking DJ. Over 800 eager party goers crammed into the venue to watch Auckland's finest DJ's battle it out for Red Bull Thre3Style supremacy and a chance to battle DJ Spell in the final.
The Thre3Style competiiton concept is simple; rock the party, get the dance floor moving and claim your title as the best party rocker DJ in the Auckland, to take your spot in the national finals against the Auckland finalists at the Thre3Style final on the 14th of October.
After two hours of genre bending Thre3Style 15 minute sets from 7 hopeful DJ’s, the judges had a hard task at hand to pick Auckland's ultimate party rocker.
Only one could come out on top and from the crowd reaction to his ill party set it was pretty obvious that DJ Paydirt was not only a crowd pleaser, he was the new Auckland Red Bull Thre3Style Champion! DJ Paydirt took home the top prize of a $1000 and bragging rights to being the top party rocker in Auckland.
Next battle for DJ Paydirt was DJ Spell from Wellington to see who would be crowned the king of Red Bull Thre3Style New Zealand!
