The boxes are closed, the Doodles have been hung up and examined thoroughly and the winners have been decided!
The entries this year in Red Bull Doodle Art were simply outstanding. Over the last few weeks students around the country put pen to paper creating an unbelievable assortment of amazing imagery. From levitating praying Buddah's through to colourful manifestations of some very creative and "open" minds, with a few good old-fashioned doodles where pen never left paper thrown in, Red Bull Doodle Art 2011 had it all.
Final Exhibition Parties were held this week at the Hanger Cafe at Auckland University & Betty's in Wellington, where the top 60 entrants & their guests attended and the winners were announced.
The Auckland Doodle Art winner is Irina Sizonva - Congratulations!
The Wellington Doodle Art winner is Tien Hee - Congratulations!
The winners received Red Bull Coolers branded with their winning Doodle, a year’s supply of Red Bull and a canvas recreation of their art. Runner Up & Student awards each received a canvas recreation of their art and a case of Red Bull.
The Auckland runner up is Heather Bell and Student awards go to Soo Park & Revi Samin
The Wellington runner up is Casey Hutchinson + Ellen Nott and Students awards go to Sarah Powell & Graedon Parker.
