Before this weekend’s Red Bull Linecatcher event in France, 22-year-old British freestyle skiing ace Paddy Graham plans a perfect imaginary night in complete with a rocking soundtrack and plenty of action.

British humour at its best
“Peter Kay is a British stand-up comedian – I’d love to have dinner with him. He’s from ‘up north’ and is really funny. You can really relate to the stuff he does and it’s just good to hear his accent sometimes. I share the British comedy shows with my housemates [German freeskiers Bene Mayr and Thomas Hlawitschka] and we’re watching The Inbetweeners at the moment and they love it… some bits might go over their heads at times with the jokes, but it’s great. I don’t think I’d invite the characters from that show, though, as it might get a bit messy…”

Pump it up
“I’d quite possibly invite the whole of Metallica and get them to come to dinner just before the competition to help me get really pumped up! I’d get them to play some music for me, definitely.”

Double trouble
“It would be cool to have some actors there, maybe an action star like Sylvester Stallone. I suppose he might not be great for conversation, but he would probably take up two seats at the table.”

A Fox ate my dinner…
“Cameron Diaz is pretty funny; I saw her on Top Gear [UK motoring show] recently, and, hmmm… I’d invite Megan Fox. So I think it would be pretty good… starting off with some comedy, then a bit of a rock show and then some action at the end when we’ve had a few drinks!
