Barcelona; what a beautiful city! The Catalonians breed good architects like New Zealand breeds good rugby players. The Sagrada Familia completely re-wrote the script and it’s truly an otherworldly experience to sit within its walls; so multi-faceted in their complexity, like a stone forest. I sit there contemplating God with tears in my eyes for about an hour. EWH are here for Sonar festival, one of the illest electronica events in the universe - I say ‘universe’ because it gets extremely far-out, but the crowds seem to dig it with greater enthusiasm the more avant-garde it gets. We perform in the infamous Red Bull Dome in Raval an area that is a bizarre mix of sketchy, hip and touristy (in that order). We also get to see Janelle Monae that night in an aircraft hanger that fits 60,000 Joe doofs. Big thanks to Torsten, Jens, Wulf, Yannick, Grace and the rest of the RBMA massive.
