The Technical Sessions return to the Red Bull Studios, featuring award winning Jay Bulletproof. The Technical Sessions started as a showcase of prominent New Zealand music artists who shared their insights as well as tips and tricks that only come with experience.

This month the pioneer of NZ D&B production, Jay Bulletproof comes in to talk about how he works in the studio to produce tracks like those that won him "Best Electronica Album of 2010" at the 2010 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards. Not to be missed by anyone wanting to learn more about electronica production.

Returning after several months’ hiatus, and a raft of international interviews, Kerry Adams will host the Technical Sessions at the Red Bull Studios in Auckland. Now into its third year, the Technical Sessions takes the country’s top electronica artists, and extracts the knowledge they have amassed. Delivering a wealth of knowledge for anyone wanting to learn more about production and studio work, this is crucial attendance for anyone wanting to further their craft.

"The Technical Sessions is something that has been missing from the New Zealand music scene full stop. When Antiform was starting out we didn’t have such great free NEW ZEALAND resources such as this. It gives people who are serious about music insights into taking the next step in their music careers and which is the ‘right’ path to move forward. Kerry and crew thank you so much for your contributions to NZ music in general." Said Josh Purcell (Antiform)

When: 30th August 2011
