I write and arrange original songs, and put 6 piano and voice tracks down last September at Rogue Studios. My main instrument is my voice, although I play piano and a bit of fiddle. On saturdays I play classical rep gigs at the Centre for Young Musicians, and also sing musical theatre rep. I have studied sound on my college course in Theatre and Technical Arts, which included working with various mics, creating sound effects and using the sound desk.
I listen to a wide range of artists, from Edith Piaf to Buena Vista Social Club to Lady Gaga. Current artists I like are Oh Atoms, Dixie Chicks, Scouting for Girls, Amy Macdonald and Taylor Swift. I also enjoy some older music by artists such as Kate Bush and Bjork. I decided to join the Other Side of The World project so that I could work ith other young people across the world and in London, and be involved in creaing something really interesting and unusual.
