Kristin is an 18 year old from Southland, New Zealand, who currently is in her final year of high school at St Hilda's Collegiate, Dunedin.

She Came fourth in Play It Strange national secondary schools Songwriting competition in 2009, with her song "Still Standing" which was written in dedication to the survivors and sufferers of the 2009 Melbourne bush-fires, receiving much praise in New Zealand and abroad. She won the competition in 2010 with her song "Witness".

Another song of her’s - "Dreamcatcher" - won the peace section of Play It Strange in 2010. Kristins’ unique voice and song lyrics are beyond her years.
