Volume 13 comes filled to the brim with live music delights. Starting out with Collapsing cities, who at time sound like the mature New Order meeting up with early Joy Division (or Stockholm Monsters, in case anyone remembers those cats), and the g-funkish west coast stylings of Homebrew you can be sure this going to be a wild ride.
Next up The Thomas Oliver Band will have you see visions of American highways passing by (with New Zealand's mountains looming in the distance, of course), which will get you just about ready for the spacey rock of Left Or Right whose raw, blissed out energy will get you in the right mood to be taken to space by, well, Kidz In Space who seem to have found a planet, somewhere out there, that is peacefully (nay, joyfully) cohabitated by your favorite electronic and hip hop artists.
Finally you'll be happy to sit back to the lush reggae grooves of The Midnights. So what you get is something like the wildest bill you'll never see at your local club, a bunch of bands united in their passion for music and performance. Everyone's a winner!
