The second instalment of the Red Bull Studio Live on campus sessions saw ever popular “The Tutts” play at Vesbar last Thursday on the AUT campus. An absolutely blasting sound system typical of The Tutts rocked the students at AUT Vesbar well into the night...
Getting things started was the master of vinyl, the infamous “Bobby Brazuka” playing his unique style of fresh Samba-funk infused with just the right amount of soul. Students lapped these beats up like a dog at it’s’ bowl. However, the real reason all were in attendance was to see front-man Scott Allen lead The Tutts into an explosive set of their definitive ‘dance-rock’
The Tutts did just that, ripping through all their hits plus some the newest material from the release of the album “Get In The Club” which hit the stores last week.
The Red Bull Studio Live concept takes the bands that you have heard in the studio on the bNet weekly Red Bull Studio Live sessions (www.redbullstudio.co.nz) into the campus bars, and onto the dance floors... 2009 will see more Red Bull Studio Live gigs performed at campuses around the country.
