Skateboarder Ryan Sheckler has won Favourite Male Athlete at the 23rd Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles, USA.
Sheckler held off the challenge of a number of world class athletes to collect the award – including Shaun White – which was voted for by a record 115m fans.

And the 20-year-old was clearly delighted to collect his award: “I feel like being in the same category as Kobe [Bryant], LeBron [James] and Shaun is crazy.”
“These are a group of guys that I look up to. I have to thank the fans for this.”
The two-time Summer X Games gold medallist also got to rub shoulders with fellow award winners, Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z and Misty May Treanor at the event.
