Squaw Valley, USA, proved to be the ideal venue for the third stage of the Freeride World Tour as the ski and snowboard enthusiasts wanting thrills and spills got just what they were looking for.
With a wide and varied terrain at their disposal, the competitors put on a great show for the crowd, with the third round possibly a defining stage on the world tour.
Henrik Windstedt, a clear winner in the Men's Ski, revealed the conditions led him to excel.
"I was really excited at the start and wanted to go as big as I could," the Swede said afterwards.

Determined not to be outdone by the men was Squaw Valley native Jaclyn Paaso. The skier and Freeride World Tour wildcard proved a real crowd-pleaser.
"I just wanted to go bigger than the boys," said Paaso. "It felt good because I didn’t have a wild card until the last minute. I really wanted to prove myself."
Winners Windstedt, Paaso and Xavier de Le Rue scored enough points to climb to the top of the overall rankings for the Freeride World Tour ahead of the final stage in Verbier, Switzerland on March 20.
