This year Buttermilk Mountain may have been blanketed in white, but all we could see was gold as the Winter X Games 12 returned to Aspen. Check out the full recap below for all the action both on and off the hill. And congrats to our entire athlete team for another MASSIVELY successful X!
Winter X Games 12 got fired up with the Red Bull welcome dinner and party at the newly opened Fly Lounge, kicking off the week’s craziness. All the Red Bull athletes from around the world got hang out and get down! The who’s who of X Games were on the scene: snowboarders Shaun White, Travis Rice, Pat Moore, Zach Leach, Iouri Podladchikov, Heikki Sorsa and Marie-France Roy - skiers Tanner Hall, Simon Dumont, Grete Eliasson, Angeli Van Lannen, Daron Rahlves, Jon Olsson, and Chris Davenport - as well as snowmobilers Levi LaVallee, Heath Frisby and Daniel Bodine. Each of the athletes were presented with a Red Bull Energy Gift Pack complete with Red Bull, a PSP, a branded lanyard, a digital camera (of which we'll collect the footage), and of course the special high-visibility helmets with reflective paint customized specifically for the Games.Article Details
