Red Bull supported the NZ Supercross Champs in a big way during the weekend at Manukau Telstra Clear Events Centre.
The Red Bull XFighters Jam sessions engaged a crowd of over 3000 spectators with 6 Jams during the course of the day's Supercross races. Nick Franklin repesented Red Bull riding with Kiwi FMX rider Ryan Lasky and Aussie flipper Cain 'Sauly' Saul. When the riders weren't jumping they were signing posters and stickers for the fans. The young FMX kids were stoked to meet their idils in the flesh and grab a signed poster for the bedroom wall.
When each Jam session took flight gaping onlookers witnessed a huge array of tricks including flip trains and Nick flipping with pyrotechnic charges strapped to his feet!
Nick Franklin showed why he is the NZ FMX Champion. Huge tricks all stomped with his own signature style.
A great day was had by all in attendence. Ben Townley won the NZ Supercross title and is now off to the US to compete for the season.
