Wiggolly Dantas

Jeffreys Bay, or J-Bay as it's known throughout the surfing community is listed as being among the five most famous surfing destinations in the world, and as always hosts the annual Billabong Pro ASP World Tour event. For almost 50 years South Africa's pride and joy has been attracting competitors and spectators from around the world to revel in the might of the world's finest right-hand pointbreak.

Often a turning point in the season, the Billabong Pro has the real propensity to make or break a world title bid, and with over $340,000 in prize money up for grabs there is always a lot at stake. For some though 'Supertubes' is worth so much more than the cash on offer, for the surfing elite it's all about becoming 'good at J-Bay'.
