Fondly considered as the 4th member of Wellington future soul band Electric Wire Hustle, you may have already witnessed some of the audio magic of Benny Tones without realizing it.
As Electric Wire Hustle’s Sound Tech Benny has been responsible for mixing EWH’s live sound since their very first performance and having set up his own studio in Wellington – Organik Muzik Workz – also recorded and mixed the groups debut album released last year through Every Waking Hour Recordings in NZ.

As well as having chief responsibility for mixing EWH’s live and studio sound, Benny is also a full time Audio engineer and has also engineered for such acts as, Pacific Heights, Solaa, Julien Dyne, Module, Iva Lamkum, and Harbour City Electric. Alongside being a highly regarded Sound Engineer, Benny is a producer in his own right and Every Waking Hour is pleased to announce Benny’s forthcoming album ‘Chrysalis’ as it’s second release. ‘ Chrysalis’ represents Benny Tone’s re-introduction as a producer and features a diverse host of vocal and instrumental collaborators including Electric Wire Hustle’s Mara TK, Taay Ninh & Myele Manzanza, Shapeshifter’s Devin Abrams & Sam Trevethick, Rio Hemopo, Joe Dukie, Isaac Aesili, Iva Lamkum, LA’s Shihan the Poet, Adi Dick and many more.
