- Australian rider Clinton Moore created freestyle MX history inside the Bullring of Las Ventas, Madrid, when he became the first to land a "Volt" body varial during the qualifying run. Moore is only the second rider in the world to land the super-technical trick to dirt, and is the first person to do it during an FMX competition. Kyle Loza first landed the trick at the 2007 X Games as he won gold for Best Trick.
