- Sleepy Age is a three piece post punk pop band who create a melody heavy music that echo influences of both old and new. Founded by Josh Burgess (ex bang bang eche) through writing songs to kill the time on long flights home from tour. Sleepy Age was formed as a band in late 2009 and where the overall winners of RDU 's 2009 'Roundup Competition' at the tender age five weeks old. Since this time have played shows through out New Zealand including supporting both national and international acts including So So Modern, Touretts, The Cribs and Grant Heart of Husker Du.
